Tony and Grammy winner Duncan Sheik will headline a 20-city Sunset Sessions tour kicking off at the beginning of November in Las Vegas.
The musician will perform tunes from his new album Covers Eighties Remixed, which is set to be released on November 6 via his label Sneaky Records/MRI. The release features tracks by bands including Dépêche Mode, The Cure, and The Smiths.
City stops include Las Vegas’s Cosmopolitan Hotel (November 9); New York’s Gramercy Theatre (November 23), Nashville’s 3rd and Lindsley (November 28); and Austin’s Paramount Theatre (December 4), among others.
Sheik received Tonys and a Grammy Award for his musical Spring Awakening. He received a 1996 Grammy nomination for Best Male Vocal for his song “Barely Breathing.” His theater credits also include Whisper House and the upcoming musicals American Psycho and The Nightingale.
