Chios then served as NE Regional Promo for Roadrunner 1999-2001 and promoted to Sr. Director of Promo until 2011 when he joined Religion Music.

DZL, APD/MD and On-Air Host, WEND/ Charlotte
DZL is the host of WEND 106.5 The End’s afternoon drive radio show, known as the “Budweiser Lounge.” DZL also hosts a night show on WTKX TK101 in Pensacola, FL, and a morning show at KCCQ 105.1 Channel Q in Des Moines, IA. In addition to three daily radio shows, DZL is a nationally syndicated radio host. DZL has worked in radio for over 12 years, and got his start at WZGC in Atlanta in the 1990s. Since then, he has worked in South Carolina and New York and has been in Charlotte for the last six years.
Daniel Glass, Founder & President of Glassnote Records
Daniel Glass is Founder/President of Glassnote Entertainment Group. Daniel began his musical career as a DJ at the famed Regine’s Discotheque in New York City. He went on to SAM Records and continued at Chrysalis, then SBK Records. Daniel’s path in music lead him to become President/CEO of EMI Records Group N.A., a founding President of Universal and President of Artemis Records before eventually starting Glassnote.
Danny Goldberg, President, Gold Village Entertainment
Danny Goldberg was the founder and President of Gold Mountain Entertainment, a personal management firm and also formed and previously ran the indie label Artemis Records. Goldberg has served as Chairman and CEO of the Mercury Records Group, CEO of Air America Radio, Chairman and CEO of Warner Bros. Records, President of Atlantic Records, also a division of the Warner Music Group, and Vice-President of Led Zeppelin’s Swan Song Records.
Marianne Goode, Founder, All Media Music Group (Also was a speaker at Sunset Sessions in February 2011, 2010, 2009, 2008, and 2007)
Having most recently served as SVP in charge of Music for Lifetime Networks, Marianne launched her own company, ALL MEDIA MUSIC GROUP in early 2010 to leverage her experience and relationships to create and maximize opportunities for between artists, songwriters and media content providers. Her clients include Lifetime/AETN, independent brand content producers, record and artist management companies. Marianne began her career in music publishing at Rondor Music International, the esteemed music publishing company started by A&M Records founders, Herb Alpert and Jerry Moss.

Randy Hawke is program director for WJJO, a station that went from classic rock to “solid rock” around 13 years ago. He has been in radio for 19 years and has also been PD of WAPL in Appleton as well as WLUM in Milwaukee.

Program Director for WIYY Baltimore since August 2002, Dave Hill started his career in radio as music director at WRAS Atlanta 1992. A year after landing his first gig in radio, Hill joined WGST Atlanta as a producer and then went to WNNX Atlanta as an on-air talent the following year. Dave Hill has also served as PD for WQBK Albany as well as for WMRQ Hartford.

Paul Jacobs is VP/General Manager of Jacobs Media and a leading radio consultant, specializing in generational marketing, sales development, and research. He runs day-to-day operations at Jacobs Media and its successful mobile apps division, jacAPPS. In 1991, he joined his brothers Fred and Bill at Jacobs Media.
Allen Kepler, President, KEPLER CONSULTANTS (Also a speaker at Sunset Sessions 2011)
Allen Kepler’s first professional stint in radio came in 1985 with San Diego’s Smooth Jazz pioneer, KIFM. Two years later Kepler moved to Chicago’s WNUA, where he worked on air, in programming, and served as Marketing Director before moving to Princeton to join Broadcast Architecture in the winter of 1990. In 1992 Kepler founded BA’s now legendary smooth jazz consulting arm, the Smooth Jazz Network™. In January of 2007, Kepler took the “Smooth Jazz Network™ to new heights with the launch of the new 24 hour format. The ‘Superstation’ concept is new for radio.
Raphaella Lima, Music Supervisor, Electronic Arts
Raphaella Lima has been with EA for nine years. In her position as Music Supervisor, she oversees the selection of licensed music and the creation of custom songs for several EA franchises. Raphaella also heads the production of EA Recordings, a division in charge of digital releases of all EA-owned music assets. She is the liaison with musical talent for all PR and marketing executions, including interviews, appearances and events, nurturing relationships with artists and managers and building long-term partnerships with great impact on artists’ career development.

Daniel Mendoza, is the Regional Manager, Chapter Operations for The GRAMMYs/The Recording Academy. After spending a decade as an event producer and music buyer, he joined The Academy in 2006 working as the right hand to the West Region Director, conducting extensive outreach to the Latin, Indie, and Dance Music comminutes to educate artist and business professionals about the organization.

Lisa began her career in Digital Media during the Dot Com boom of the mid-90′s and hasn’t looked back! Eric S. Page is the managing editor of NBCSanDiego’s music blog, SoundDiego, a heavily trafficked site dedicated to covering the local music community. He has been a working journalist in San Diego for the past eight years and, prior to that time, worked as a filmmaker and was on the staff of Rolling Stone and People magazines.
Ryan Patrick, Program Director, KAZR/Des Moines
Ryan Patrick’s career started in ’93 at WGRF in Buffalo in promotions and on-air at his college station, WBNY (Buffalo State). After graduation he started doing the overnight gig at WEDG/Buffalo and then moved to Albany for afternoons at WXCR (Classic Rock). He then crossed back over the border for round two at WEDG as MD and morning show producer and at the end of 2003, became the PD at KAZR Des Moines.

As the Worldwide Sr. Music Supervisor for Electronic Arts, Cybele Pettus has supervised the soundtracks for such top-selling EA franchises. Cybele is part of the Artwerk Music Publishing team, participating in the A&R process of signing artists to the Artwerk roster, which is EA’s joint venture with Nettwerk Music. Prior to joining the music department at EA in 2002, Cybele held A&R positions since 1992 at Warner Bros./Reprise and EMI Records.
Todd Porter, Producer/Music Supervisor, Goodby, Silverstein, & Partners
Todd Porter is a music supervisor and commercial producer who has been working at Goodby, Silverstein and Partners for the past ten or twenty years. After placing music in many many spots, interactive pieces and pitch videos they created a department and gave him the additional title of Music Supervisor, (the first in the agency’s history.) He is currently like a kid in a candy store. He loves to give money away to talented people with great tunes.
Jordan Silverberg, Director of Music, Transit, LLC.
Jordan Silverberg has been working as a supervisor for movie trailers since 2001, having worked on campaigns for such projects as Tron: Legacy, Star Trek, Sin City, and Lord of the Rings. He currently holds the position of Director of Music at Transit, a brand new trailer house based in Santa Monica.
