David Hall, On-Air Host, WRLT/Nashville (Also was a speaker at Sunset Sessions 2007)
“David Hall rocks y’all” every afternoon from 3-7pm, as he has on Lightning 100 since 1993. David came to Nashville in 1980 and had long runs on the air at WKDF from 1980-1988 and WGFX from 1988-1993 while they were rock stations, so no one has continuously rocked Music City as long. David also hosts the “Lightning 100 Unplugged” show on Sunday mornings from 9:30-11am. Then on Sunday nights he’s the MC for Lightning 100′s weekly live music series “Nashville Sunday Night” at 3rd and Lindsley 8-10pm.

Chris Jackson, Director of Music, E! Entertainment 
As Director of Music for the Comcast Entertainment Group, Chris is responsible for the “sound” of the E!, Style, G4 and Fearnet Networks. Prior to CEG, Chris was a partner in Beatscape, providing music supervision for Film, Television, Trailers and Videogames. He also co-founded MustVote, a groundbreaking voter registration campaign coupling viral and social media marketing with the passion of music fans. Chris also co-founded Rightspring, Inc. a pioneering marketplace for searching, licensing and digital delivery of creative assets to professional users.


Tracy McKnight, VP of Film and Music, Lionsgate 
A celebrated music supervisor, Ms. McKnight brings a broad diversity and great depth of experience to her position as head of Lionsgate’s Film Music division. Prior to Lionsgate Ms. McKnight co-founded Commotion Records with former CBS executive Walter Yetnikoff, with the vision to bring innovative music from groundbreaking films into the world. Furthermore, Ms. McKnight headed two film music departments – at Good Machine and Independent Pictures.


Mike Mullaney, APD/MD, WBMX/Boston
Mike Mullaney started out doing research at WZLX, he graduated to overnight producer and then moved to morning show producer for Alan Colmes and Jeff Gonzer. After returning to Bridgewater State College, where he ran the radio station, he spent four years at Triple A WBOS as APD/MD. In 1995 he got the chance to launch a brand new rival AAA WXRV with Joanne Doody and Steven Silberberg. In 1998 he got the call to come to WBMX from Greg Strassell and SVP Mark Hannon and he’s enjoyed a great run ever since.

Alicen Schneider, VP of Music Creative Services, NBC Universal Television Music (Also was a speaker at Sunset Sessions 2009)

Alicen co-leads the NBC Universal Television music department heading up the creative division. She serves as music liaison between Network and Studio creative executives for stunt casting and on-camera opportunities and works with composers on the creation of original compositions and recordings for episodic series and promos. Before coming to NBC, Alicen was an A&R assistant in the television and film division of Warner Special Products (a subsidiary of Warner Bros. Records) as well as a deejay for KXLU-FM, Los Angeles.


Bob Sinclair, Owner, Sinclair Broadcasting


Thorn, Music Director & On-Air Host, KTCZ/Minneapolis (Also was a speaker at Sunset Sessions 2009)Thorn’s radio career began at Radio K, the University of Minnesota’s college radio station, where he served as the station’s first program director. He went on to write and produce for the National Alternative Network while spending his afternoons on air at REV-105, also serving as the station’s assistant program director; a stint as associate program director/music director for Zone 105 followed in 1997. Thorn joined the Minnesota Public Radio family in 2001, serving as the director of distribution for MNN Radio’s sports broadcasts of the Twins, Timberwolves, Vikings and Wild. In 2004, he helped launch MPR’s national distribution arm, American Public Media, serving as its production manager.


Trina Tombrink, Universal Republic
Trina Tombrink was appointed to Sr. Director/AAA Promotion at Universal Republic Records in 2008. Tombrink is responsible for overseeing AAA projects for Universal Republic Records as well as Brushfire. Most recently, Tombrink was Sr. Dir./AAA Promotion for Columbia Records, and before that was Dir./Rock Promotion for the same label.


Kevin Weaver, Executive VP, Atlantic Records Group
The Los Angeles-based Weaver, who began his music career with Atlantic in 1994, was most recently senior VP of the company. In his post, he oversees the creation and placement of Atlantic-affiliated music and artists across all visual media—including film, TV and videogames—as well as being responsible for developing and overseeing soundtrack projects, strategic alliances, licensing opportunities and marketing initiatives. In this role, he works closely with film and TV studios as well as production companies.
